LEAVE OF ABSENCE (LOA)

You may be allowed to go on a LOA on the following conditions:

1. Submission of a letter of request and university approval;
   
2. The leave is highly justified, supported by pertinent documents;
   
3. The maximum duration of the leave is one academic year, and the expiration date shall be immediately before the start of the ensuing semester; and
   
4. A report is submitted immediately upon your return to school, which will be used as a basis in determining the resumption of your scholarship privileges.

• If you exceed the maximum period of LOA, you shall refund the total financial assistance received plus 12% interest.
