ON NON-COMPLIANCE CASES

a. A non-compliance case refers to a scholar who has not submitted the following required periodic reports to DOST-SEI/Regional Office (RO)/University Core Group (UCG)/University Coordinator (UC) at the end of one (1) academic year:

  • official grades
  • registration form or certificate of enrolment
  • request for leave of absence
  • other pertinent documents

b. A non-complying (NC) scholar may be of good standing, suspended or on a leave of absence status at the time he/she stopped reporting.

c. A scholar who is classified NC may forfeit his/her financial privileges for the semester/s he/she did not report should his/her scholarship be reinstated. His/her financial privileges shall resume only effective the semester of he/she is reinstated to the scholarship program.

d. A scholar who is of good academic standing or on suspended status as of the last semester he/she reported but has since stopped studying or shifted to a non-DOST priority course shall be considered to have willfully abandoned the scholarship; thus, he/she shall be required to refund the total financial assistance he/she received as a scholar plus 12% interest.
